About Jay Cameron

For more than seven years, Jay Cameron was one of the most recognized voices in the DC metropolitan area having hosted two number one shows at one of the area’s top-rated radio stations. 

Jay was ordained as a Minister in 1999 and soon thereafter penned his first stage play that eventually launched the phenomenon now known today as SEXPOSÉ. This cutting-edge, true-to-life production dubbed "the most graphic stage play in America," was birthed out of Jay noticing a lack of truth being presented to urban culture about the devil's schemes to further steer them down a road of destruction. This stage play, which has touched more than 60,000 people nationwide and countless others worldwide via DVD, exposes the negative and deadly influences that cause us to make costly life decisions. AIDS, abortion, witchcraft, and the devil's presence in the secular & gospel music industry, are just a few of the controversial yet glaringly truthful topics exposed in this presentation. Jay also reveals his soul-stirring personal testimony exposing his role in the enemy's master plan by being a former club promoter.

Jay has served as promotions director for concerts featuring Fred Hammond, Karen Clark-Sheard, Yolanda Adams, Hezekiah Walker, Donald Lawrence, Dawkins & Dawkins, Deitrick Haddon, Marvin Sapp, Helen Baylor and a host of others.

In 1999, Jay founded Urban Change which is a community outreach organization. Urban Change's consists of individuals from all walks of life, each with a desire to aid urban communities.  Urban Change's mission is to break the chains of bondage that many urban communites face. Additionally, Jay has developed keen leadership skills by studying under the personal guidance of New York Times Best Selling author, teacher and speaker Dr. John Maxwell.

In addtion to Urban Change, The Life Center was founded in February 2004 by Jay & Latricia Cameron. The goal of The Life Center is to lead people to Christ and to develop mature disciples of Christ. As a Pastor, Jay's focus is the people that God has entrusted him to lead. His passion is to see them grow in their relationship with Christ. Jay understands that many people have been wounded in "the church" and in "the world". His desire is that The Life Center can be a place of healing and restoration. Although Jay's professional accomplishments are quite distinguished and he is most certainly multi-talented, his greatest accomplishment is being a devoted husband and loving father of four children.
